Many cellists from all over the world often include a Suite for Solo Cello by J.S. Bach into their recital programmes. These works set the benchmark for solo cello performance, and challenges the performer to extreme intellectual and physical endurance limits. There are 6 Suites in the set, and to really appreciate the beauty and artwork of this large-scaled composition, one has to really experience the complete set of all 6 Suites in totality. It is a very demanding and daunting task for a performer to present the complete set, and it is very seldom performed in one concert, but audiences are now invited to experience and appreciate all Six Suites in one concert. The listener is taken on an amazing musical journey that is well rewarded.
