Five years since the debut and subsequent sold-out seasons at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino in Johannesburg and Theatre on the Bay in Cape Town, Recuerdos returns to its conceptual birthplace; The Etienne Rousseau Theatre in Sasolburg, South Africa.

Acclaimed guitarist James Grace, whose solo CD Andaluza – Music of Spain III won the SAMA (South African Music Award) for Best Classical Album 2019, provides the music for the members of Carli Olivier’s recently formed Compañia Sophia, with original choreography and costume design by Olivier and the cast.

Against a stunning backdrop of underwater photography and visuals by Gauteng-based artist Ilse Moore, Recuerdos is the perfect way to spend your June 5th Saturday afternoon.
